I'm back from Hawaii and still playing catch up, but the book signing in Honolulu was a lot of fun and I'm going to be adding more photos to my Facebook page later today. I also had time to do some reading, and absolutely devoured Joey W. Hill's latest in her Vampire Queen series, NIGHT'S TEMPLAR. This was Uthe's story, and I've never found him to be a sympathetic character--leave it to Joey to turn that idea on its ass! I loved this book, the first fully m/m romance in the series. Joey's writing always sucks me in so completely, I knew it would be the perfect story to read on the plane. It was...and all week we were on the island, too, because hers are books I really can't put down.
I ended up giving away all three of the ARCs I got from SMP because I had so many entries this month, which is why I chose a third winner. (Random.org makes it a relatively simple process) I'm not promising a newsletter in December because the kids will be here and chaos reigns when they're in town, though I might just have to, as REDEMPTION comes out December 29. Keep an eye out for an email to your inbox, as I'll definitely announce.
I hope some of you are giving my new series a try--I'm so excited about INTIMATE and can't wait to hear what you think about this new foray into contemporary romantic suspense.
We're finally getting rain here in California, and Doug's out in the other room, lighting a fire in the fireplace. First one we've had in forever! But I think it's time to pour myself a glass of wine and go out and sit on my butt for a while.
