AAAACCCKKKK! My apologies. I don't think I've ever actually forgotten to pick contest winners, but I got busy tearing out the bathroom last week after posting my newsletter, and completely forgot. You know how I talk about getting into the zone when I write? It appears the same thing happens when I'm scraping and ripping out yucky old linoleum...

I had a lot of entries this month so I've picked four winners. Copies of the ARC for AWAKENED, coming out June 28 are Maryanne from Pennsylvania, Andrea from Missouri, Erin from British Columbia, and Sherry from Texas. Books should go out by tomorrow (husband left early and is doing the mail run on his way home) and, as I mentioned in my newsletter for those of you who win copies, I would really appreciate a review or ranking on any sites you might frequent. And keep it honest--if you really don't like the book, that's the kind of thing I want you to post. I'm not going to ask for good rankings or reviews because I'm the first to say that all reading is subjective. Obviously I hope that if you're following my newsletter, it's because you like my stories, but not everyone is going to love every book I write.

(and yes that was a totally subjective comment...) Thanks again to all of you who entered and better luck next month. Thanks to the random.org site that makes my job so much easier! The only one I picked purposefully to receive a book was Sherry from Texas who entered today and is the only reason I realized I hadn't yet chosen a winner or even thought about the fact I had any to choose. I tend to be a bit single-minded that way, but once I sent the edits off I went immediately into "ripping and tearing" mode.
Hope the weather is settling down where you live, and that you've got a bit of time to indulge in some reading before kids are out of school and the summer crazies begin.
Be well, be safe, and don't forget to find some time for a really good book. There are SO MANY of them out there!
