The Wolf Tales/Sexy Beast series consists of twelve novels and nine Chanku novellas--the Chanku stories are the novellas in the Sexy Beast and Wild Nights anthologies and very much a part of the overall story arc--they are also available as single title ebook novellas with titles corresponding to the titles in each anthology. (The only exception is the ebook novella Chanku Dawn which was originally titled Camille's Dawn in the Wild Nights anthology, but this was before we had any idea how many books there would be, so we weren't too concerned about continuity.) The stories are tightly linked, so if you're as nuts about reading a series in order as I am, please read in the order listed below. I can't help it...I write in a totally linear style, so the books are tightly connected from one story to the next, and the Chanku novellas would be better served as final chapters of each Wolf Tales they follow. Unfortunately, without the shorter stories, you're missing much of the story.

The Wolf Tales novels should be read in order--which is why they're all specifically numbered...but...

...the novella numbering got out of order when the publisher slipped the Wild Nights anthology in after the first Sexy Beast anthology. Now even I get confused, which is why I was thrilled when the Chanku ebooks released, all properly numbered to follow the preceding Wolf Tales novel. For instance, the story in Sexy Beast--Chanku Rising--is the same as Wolf Tales 1.5 Chanku Rising--and it is essentially the final chapter of the first novel.
