I always have the best of intentions of choosing winners and announcing the wins ON TIME, but I wrote all weekend and obviously here it is Monday morning and I'm finally doing what should have been done. Probably a good thing, as I was still receiving entries this morning. I chose three winners using Random.org who will each receive a copy of Hot Alphas. |
Katherine C from Brooklyn, NY, Veronica D from San Antonio, TX, and Peggy M. from Newmarket, ON. Hopefully your books will go out this afternoon. (Days like this I am reminded that I REALLY need minions!)
We've had spring-like weather here in California, which makes it even harder to stay inside and write, but I'm really getting into this Feral Passions (Tentatively called DANGEROUS PASSIONS) story and loving my heroes. Trak and Evan couldn't be more different, but each of them is so appealing in his own way. The women are complete opposites--Darnell showed up in the first book, a high-energy make-up artist from Hollywood who finally decides it's time to go after her man, and Consuela de los Lobos, a rogue female werewolf, something almost unheard of among the packs. Chelo, as she is called, has come to the Trinity Mountain pack begging sanctuary. Trak, as pack alpha, is the only one who can give her what she needs.
Going to be fun to see what happens. Watch for an announcement tomorrow for the cover reveal for my second in the Feral Passions series. Wild Passions will be part of the CLAIMED BY THE MATE, VOL. 2 ebook duet that comes out June 7 with another great story by AC Arthur, and then in the WILD print anthology coming out September 20. The cover reveal is for the print anthology--I've seen it, and WILD is even hotter than GROWL! (Still waiting on my copies--some sort of mix-up along the line, but I hope to have them before too long.)
Remember, it you live in or within driving distance of the Sonoma County Wine Country, I've got two author events coming up this month. Next Friday night I'll be chatting and signing at COPPERFIELD'S BOOKS in Santa Rosa from 6:00-8:00. Sign-ups are available on Facebook. The event is free, but they like to have an idea of how many people are showing up, especially since the evening includes a presentation by the Spice Sensuality Boutique introducing the latest adult toys. (Now THIS could be interesting!)
On February 20, I'll be attending Sharon Hamilton's ROMANCING THE VINES event at Coppola Winery in Alexander Valley, just north of Healdsburg. Desserts and wine and over a dozen attending authors are yours for something like $6. This is the first of what will hopefully become an annual event, and I doubt the price will remain this low. Check it out and sign up if you think you can make it. It's an absolutely gorgeous winery, and there's no place more beautiful than wine country in early spring. Just take a look at the picture on the home page of my website--husband took it last February while on a bike ride not far from Coppola's.
Need to get those books wrapped up and in the mail. Hope you have a wonderful week, and let me know if you'll be coming to wine country for either event!
take care,
Kate
