Congratulations, winners! I will be sending copies of WILD to Dawn R. in Virginia, Donetta W. in Florida, and Kim R. in Pennsylvania. Trina P. in Canada, I'll be contacting you about sending a digital copy, and since I need to buy whatever the prize is, I'm going to let my International readers choose the book they want me to send. Thanks to all of you for entering, and for working your |
I do have some news to report--Dark Terror should be up for pre-sale by March 12. It's going to cost $2.99 if you buy it early, $3.99 when it goes to the regular price. I'm keeping the cost of these as low as possible, but I'd really appreciate your spreading the word when it's finally available for pre-sale and then for sale. Actually, I'm hoping that you'll help me prove a point.
It's my opinion that the NY prices for ebooks are much too high--the original Wolf Tales, the first book, is still at $8.99, though I see where the others in the series are finally down to $5.99. (They were all $8.99 last time I looked) My St. Martin's Press romantic suspense series, which sells for $7.99 in print, is also $7.99 as an ebook. I think that's way too high. I'd rather sell more books for less money and hopefully draw in new readers, than charge a really high price that not every reader can afford.
I buy a lot of books, and believe me, I love BookBub, because books take way too big a chunk out of my budget! But if I can sell enough books at a lower price, then I can continue writing them, which is all I want to be doing.
So watch this space! I'll let you know when Dark Terror is up and also when we'll be bringing out Wolf Tales 10, 11, and 12. I'm working my way through them, now. Then I need to start the next Spirit Wild book. It's going to be a busy few months!
Thanks to everyone who entered, and congratulations to the winners. Wishing you all a very good week!
