On another note, I just got some--to me, anyway--depressing news. St. Martin's Press has cancelled the release of the Feral Passions series as single-title ebooks. I'm sorry because I know of quite a few of you who were looking forward to finding the books online at a reasonable cost. FWIW, the stories are still available in the CLAIMED BY THE MATE duet for $4.99.
Quick update--I just now heard from my editor who loves the series and is hoping for an alternative way to release them. I suggested combining all three into a bundle, and she seemed interested. Here's hoping! I will keep you updated.
On that note, I need to get back to work. There will be some changes coming in the future with my newsletter contests. I doubt I'll be able to continue doing them monthly, as I no longer get books from my publisher to give away, and it's not in the budget to buy the print ones as I have to pay full price for them. It all comes down to economics--if this indie publishing is as successful as I hope, I may be able to get back to the regular contests, but for now they're only going to happen when I honestly have the money and the time.
I'll still be doing my newsletters with updates on new books and the occasional re-release. Coming up, of course, is Wolf Tales 10, and I've had a terrific response for reviewers to help me out in the future. I can still add more, so if you're interested, please drop me a note. Books will be provided via NetGalley.
Take care, all, and thank you for entering!
Kate
