I'm sending out bags of "RWA Swag" to five of you this year--I decided to send to more winners so you can get a taste of what kinds of things authors use to promote themselves--and there are also a few books in each bag. They're going out priority mail, so you should have them in a couple of days, except for my Canadian winner--I think it's closer to two weeks for yours. |
My winners are Laura H in South Carolina, J Smith in Louisville, KY, Antonia B in Detroit, MI, and Erin F in Boystown, NE. Jeanette J in Ontario, Canada kept me busy all afternoon, trying to figure out how to describe Swag on a customs form. I had already sealed the bags so I couldn't go back and rip it open (they don't reseal well at all) and had no idea how many books, pens, etc. were in the one going to Canada, so I guessed. Hopefully, close counts.
I'm still busy working on AWAKENED, so won't be hanging around Facebook or Twitter much at all until I get it finished. One of these days I really hope to get caught up, but I swear it's not in the near future! I hope you've all managed to stay safe this summer. With floods in Tampa and tornadoes in the Midwest, and fires out here in the West, finding a quiet corner with a good book is about the best break I can think of!
