But, edits are done and I'm going to give away two copies of ARC's (advance reader copies) of GROWL, the print anthology coming out January 5. This print book, and it's HUGE because it has three complete novels in it, has the two stories from the Claimed by the Mate duet, mine and AC Arthur's, as well as an entirely new book by Eve Langlais. The thing is, I will be running the contest through the Thanksgiving holiday and then I'll be in Honolulu, HI for a book signing December 1 for INTIMATE, so the contest will run until December 2, which gives you plenty of time to enter. Love the cover for this one! I mean, really...is that gorgeous or what?
Other than that, not too much exciting in my life. I blew out my Achilles tendon in my left ankle so running has been out since August, which is really depressing because the weather has been gorgeous and it hurts to walk, much less run. I've been to physical therapy and got a ton of exercises from a guy who must have trained under the Marquis de Sade. They are not fun. And he was such a NICE man. Until he started rolling my leg on a big piece of foam that might look soft but isn't. I'm getting really antsy, waiting for the release of INTIMATE on December 1. If you're going to be on Oahu for vacation or whatever (HI, Cheryl--Cheryl is one of my readers who's told me she'll be at the |
That picture at the top is the new promo card I had printed up. Thanks to the fabulous Renee George, who not only writes wonderful stories (Peculiar Mysteries--You've Got Tail my current fave...) but is also is a fantastic artist, my cards turned out perfectly. If you want one, signed, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope (business size envelope--they're about 8" long) to me at

and I'll pop one in the mail to you.
To enter this month's contest, fill out the entry form at the right (or bottom if you're on your mobile device) but NOT in the comment form. It has to say CONTEST ENTRY for it to be a contest entry. Complete mailing address--please don't abbreviate anything but the two letter official abbreviation for your state because the post office does not play well with the short version of anything.
If you're in a country other than the US, same thing--spell it out, as much in English as you can. You wouldn't believe the trouble I run into trying to make your addresses understood by the USPS online...
I need to finish a few updates--will send this out Sunday evening so I can read through for typos when I'm not falling asleep! And as far as reading goes, I just finished Karen Chance's latest Cassie Palmer novel, REAP THE WIND. If you've been reading this series, get it, but don't try and start mid-series or you'll be totally lost. It's good, but so much action you need to watch our for whiplash! Next book sitting here teasing me? Joey W. Hill's latest in the VAMPIRE QUEEN series, NIGHT'S TEMPLAR. It's a big, beautiful book and I can't wait to start it!
I'm also looking forward to Jayne Ann Krentz's next book, SECRET SISTERS. The link is to Jayne's website with her buy links all handy. Another one I can't wait for is Stella Cameron's newest, sharing my December 1 release date, OUT COMES THE EVIL, another Alex Duggan's mystery. I loved her first one, released first as COLD, and then as FOLLY when a new publisher picked up the series.
Take care, all. I need sleep. Have about eight or nine months to catch up on! Be safe, and don't forget, in the hectic days around the holidays, to save some quite time to read a good book. Hopefully it will be a copy of INTIMATE. And remember that REDEMPTION
releases December 29, so those Christmas gift cards should come in handy!
