I forgot to mention that when we camped in Mt. Shasta, we were next to a train track...and a crossing. The
whistles and the sound of trains going by kept us awake most of the night. When we camped at Lake Odell,
wouldn't you know there was a train track around the lake...and we heard the train going by all night long!
Did I also mention my husband LOVES trains...and that I'm fast losing my affection for them?
I'm not crazy about trains, but I LOVE tunnels!
This one was really cool!!!
Really loved the rock formations we saw along the way, too.
Stopped at a lovely park in Oakridge, OR and had a sandwich.
The bridge stretched over the river. Looking west...
...and in this view, looking east, into the morning sun.
Arrived at Doug's brother's place in the afternoon. That's Sam
out in front, guarding the ranch!
Definitely a beautiful setting.
