Today was more of a travel day than anything. We did make some side trips to see the Glacier Park National Airport
as well as some of the country outside the park. I also stopped at a Borders in Kalispell to sign my books that were in
stock and met the store employees. It was really cool to see so many of our Aphrosidia titles on the shelves--I noticed
some of Elizabeth Amber's bookmarks in copies of her books, and added my own to my titles.
Afterwards, since we couldn't see Glacier, we decided to head for the Salmon River and the Sawtooth Mountains. The
stop at the KOA was great, though, as we were able to catch up on laundry and I found some really cute t-shirts for the
grandkids. I tried loading my website but the connection wasn't strong enough, though I did catch up on some of my
email. Our only side trip today was to a National Bison Preserve north of Missoula, MT, near Flathead Lake. It rained
off and on for most of the day. Hopefully it will clear away some of the smoke!
We camped near Darby, MT at Lake Como. It's a resevoir and the levels this late in the season were way down, but
the campground was practically empty. We're enjoying the quiet of camping after the regular season ends.
