Barely two months after celebrating June's 90th birthday with a terrific party for family and friends, she was gone. We are so glad so many were able to be here in January when June was literally the belle of the ball in her bright red dress, loving every moment. No one enjoyed a party more than June--I think she would have loved her "going away" celebration of life every bit as much. With June's newest great-grandchild, 7 week old Ella Carol Moore, daughter of Jon and Melanie Moore attending, granddaughter Sarah expecting a baby in September, and with all the grandchildren and great grandchildren, there truly was proof of the amazing circle of life. It was a sad day, but also a day filled with laughter, just the way June would have liked.

There was a surprisingly large turn-out, evidence of June's friendships that spanned all ages. So many of the same people had only recently celebrated her 90th birthday with her at a party on January 28.

Jon and Mel brought June's newest great-grandchild over from Oahu. June didn't get a chance to meet Ella, though she saw her pictures online from the day Ella was born.

Reverand Oran Geiger and his wife have been neighbors and friends of June and Paul's for many years. Though retired, Rev. Geiger did a wonderful service for June.

Jody's daughter Kasandra read a wonderful poem she had written for her great grandmother.

Kim's film of June's birthday party was a wonderful tribute. Hard to believe it was barely two months ago.

As we were leaving the luncheon after the service, Doug drove by the brake shop his mom and dad owned for so many years. It hasn't changed a bit. It's still Paul Moore Wheel and Brake.
My sincere appreciation to June's niece, Jean Barton, for sharing her wonderful photographs.
