Today was an absolute hoot! There was a good crowd at the Dublin Barnes and Noble in spite of the rain, and the actors who read the excerpts of our books, Travis Poelle and Melanee E. Nelson, were absolutely fantastic. It was such a thrill to hear my prose read by professionals--and what was really fun is that the physical appearance of the actors meshed perfectly with my characters in Wolf Tales III. Below is a copy of the playbill that was handed out:

2006 Valentines Weekend book singings in Borders Express stores in Monterey and Santa Clara California.

 Sylvia, Kate and Sahara--we started the weekend in Monterey, CA at Border's Express. Jeff, the manager, had everything set up just beautifully for us.

 The kind of readers we LOVE! Not only were these terrific ladies a lot of fun, just look at the books they walked away with! We had so many terrific people come by both signings. What a great way to spend a gorgeous California weekend.

 Sahara Kelly is smiling because she was out in sunny California from her Boston home--she picked Boston's worst snowstorm of the winter to head West! I'm smiling because I've really missed my buddy!

 Patricia Chaddock makes absolutely beautiful quilts, gets authors to autograph the panels, then donates them for charity auctions. This gorgeous quilt is going to Brenda Novak's juvenile diabetes fundraiser.

Our thanks to the managers and romance experts of Borders Express for such wonderful book signings. They welcomed us so graciously and really made our weekend an absolute hoot! It was fun to meet readers, to see old friends and especially heartening to see our books going out the doors with their new owners!
