We spent the first night of our honeymoon at the Lee Vining campground--I don't remember it being NEARLY as cold!

That valley is Lee Vining Campground, where we spent the night--the snow covered peaks in the middle of the photo are volcanic cinder cones near Mono Lake.

That's me reading the paper--it was a gorgeous campsite.

As is making up the bed--which my husband does. I was just making sure I had enough blankets! (I didn't!!!)

Photo below is the Moccosin fish hatchery--37 years ago this month, Doug took me here on our first date--
definitely a unique form of courtship, but obviously it worked!
