Doug moved his weight set out of the top floor and built bookshelves for me this past week.
Still need to get my framed book covers on the wall, but at least I got my books put away...kind of!
To give an idea of dimensions, the room is 11.5' wide, so that's a LOT of bookshelves!
I sit in Gramma's old rocker with my laptop and write. Beautiful view out the window from the third floor office. The smaller cases are
for my "author copies" of my own books for contests, prizes, etc.

 All the colors we've chosen for the living room and kitchen can be found in the beautiful old map on the wall...it's one our friend Ann's son, Chris, pulled out of the trash for Doug at UC Berkley years ago, showing the various wine appelations of California. I had it framed and Doug's had it in his office for years, but I like it much better up here!
